The Firaxis package clearly targeted fans of the series who already own War of the Chosen, who made up the vast majority of this package’s supporters. The Legacy Pack will almost certainly be our final adventure in XCOM 2, and it’s great to have it out of the way. Bradford and Shen both provide voiceovers for each mission.
There could have been an exciting moment when the Faceless appeared. The aliens you will face are most likely gangly and taller than you. The Legacy Operations take place in the years following XCOM 2. My Legacy Op score, which took a hit each time a soldier was wounded – and even a bigger hit if they died, had a limited effect on me. While I enjoyed the challenge of achieving what I could with what I had, it was never my concern for the soldiers. The game’s unique experience will be greatly altered with the removal of half of what makes XCOM so unique.
